TattooCoverUp.AI began with a focused problem: people often know they want to change an unwanted tattoo but cannot picture what enough coverage might look like.
The first Cover-Up Generator let a user upload a tattoo photo, select the area to transform, choose a visual style, and create a concept preview. The workflow was designed to make an early idea easier to see before a user commits to a direction with an artist.
The old tattoo remains part of the brief
A cover-up is not the same as placing a new design on blank skin. Dark ink, edges, shape, placement, and the amount of clear skin all constrain the result. The generator uses the uploaded photo and selected region so the old piece remains visible to the generation process.
Preview first, professional assessment next
The release established the expectation that still guides the product today: generated images are planning references. A professional tattoo artist must determine whether the proposed scale, density, and composition can work on the actual tattoo and skin.
